When I try activate, I get error code 107. What does this mean?
Error 107 appears when you have forgotten to deactivate an older version of the product before upgrading. You should use the "Deactivation Online" feature here (versions 8 and above only; Version 7 users contact Online Support):
Keep in mind you should be deactivating your NEW serial number, not the old one. The old one is no longer valid.
 
To use deactivation online, you need to "bind" that serial number to your account first. You can do that here:
Once the Deactivation is successful, you may activate your new copy of the software with the new Serial number.
